BOER DOES
As Boer goat breeder, we offer our breeding does from young percentage kids to breed Full bloods ready to kid. Our prices will very depending on the age, quality and percentage of the doe. For a young percentage kid our prices start around $150. For a breed Full blood, the price would be starting $500.

FULL BLOOD & PURE BREED BOER DOES Young Full Blood does

We maintains over half of our herd as Full Blood and Purebreed does. This gives us the ability to offer Full Blood and Purebred does as seed stock. Also from our Full Blood Does we keep a select few bucks for sale at a reasonable price. We implemented an AI program with our Full Bloods starting in the spring of 2005. This gives us the ability to add a greater variety of genetics to our breeding program.

PERCENTAGE BOER DOES Yearling 3/4 (75%) doe

Our Percentage Does are mostly Spanish cross influence. We have a few from our Nubian dairy goats. The Spanish cross does have excellent mothering abilities. These are great for commercial herds. We use them for our wether producers. The Spanish crosses have kids that have great instinct for survival. This is necessary for kidding in January, especially in Ohio.

BREEDING PROGRAM

We breed for kidding two times a year. We will start kidding in January and February. We will have a few does that will kid through March/April. We then breed; select does, through May to have fall born kids. These are usually Full Blood or the March/April does from the previous year.
